Some of you may have been wondering if Arrowhead is still in business since you have not yet received a catalog. I assure you we are still very much in business
and have an extensive web presence, however, the 2011 catalog will be significantly delayed.  This is due to a variety of factors including the economy and my health. 
As many of you know I have been fighting stage 4 colon cancer for the last couple of years. I am doing reasonably well but it does wear you down. 
  
We would like to ask you to please visit the websites at arrowhead-alpines.com and the online shopping cart at arrowheadshopping.com. They are linked and there is
the latest version of the 2011 catalog online at arrowheadshopping.com.  This site also has images of most of the things in the catalog. If nothing else surf around
and look at the pictures. Should you decide there is something you must have just give it a click.  Since we have saved a bit on printing and mailing costs simply
enter the word PARIS in the discount coupon box at checkout and you will save 15% on your order total. You can also mail, fax, or phone in an order from the 2010
catalog and use the 15% off special. To use it, write PARIS on your order form and the 15% will be deducted from your order total. The 2010 .pdf version of the
catalog is available on line and we hope to have the 2011 up shortly. Some of you will also be getting a post card in the mail explaining this; (the front cover is
a Paris species) if you do use an old catalog to place an order be aware that some prices may have changed and that not everything is available. You are welcome to
fax us orders at 517-223-8750 and if you have questions, need to place a phone order, or just want to talk about plants give Bob a call at 517-223-3581. I’m usually
available in the afternoon or early evening, as long as I am not feeling like crap from chemo. If you place a message, please give me a few days to get back to you.
  
Once again we are hosting the Michigan rock garden society grafting workshop on Saturday February 19 and the annual winter sucks party on Saturday February 26. We hope
to see you there or later this year when the nursery is open for retail: 4-15-2011 is the official opening date but if you are passing through during the off season we
make exceptions. If you can’t make it out you can always visit us on line, either at arrowhead-alpines.com or on facebook. Besides thousands of plant pictures there are
also galleries of the nursery and gardens and some of the animals we share it with.
  
As you know the last couple of years have seen the demise of many of the best small nurseries and some huge ones as well.  We would like to personally thank our loyal
customers who have and continue to support us through these difficult times.
